IoT Hub needs enabled/disabled option
This feature is still not available! But i can only think of one way limit the messages to give some dummy IP in the white listing property to reject all the traffic.

This is such an obviously good feature for all of Azure. If you want to convince clients to experiment, it's difficult to get them to commit. Further, if they change their mind or limit funding our choices are (a) delete items or (b) if you had the disable feature we'd disable. Now, when they have funding - in scenario (b) they simply enable and we keep going. Since you don't have that and we've deleted everything, we have no reason not to re-open consideration for AWS since there's no real cost to switch.
Suspend (turn off_) IoT hub so that it is no incurring any charge while suspended / disabled BUT without requring any deleting (and later redefining) of related resources.

Indeed it needs option to disable whole service. I'm burning money when it's not used and it's time consuming when I've to set everything up when I'm deleting it and creating again.
Does anyone know if you can disable it by powershell comand?
I would like the ability to disable the Azure IOT completely for all devices so that it does not run up my Azure Bill as I primarily use it for customer demos.

Elio, I believe the question is to foresee something where we can disable/suspend an IoT hub, so that it does not cost any money. This is typically something we can use during test/acceptance phases, where the IoT hub can be enabled for performance / integration tests, but disabled when no longer used.

I'd like to suspend the IoT Hub for a while without deleting it.

Could you detail your scenario?
Is it disable of all operations? Only device ones?
