Temporarily disable autoshutdown.
I love the feature, but sometimes, I want to run a calculation that might last for a few days. I'd love to be able to configure something like "turn off autoshutdown for 48 hours"
As opposed to turning it off, then putting a few calendar events in my phone to remind me to go turn it back on again.
We are reviewing the request now. For those who would like to see this feature sooner, please don’t hesitate to vote for it. Thanks.

I would also very much like to have this functionality.
But: again this seems to be another feature request that has gone absolutely silent for three years since the last update from Microsoft.
Come on Microsoft! If in response to support requests you even recommend submitting requests on the feedback.azure.com platform to get issues fixed, then at least DO SOMETHING WITH THESE REQUESTS!!!
Currently I have absolutely no faith in this platform...

Here's a vote for auto-shutdown override.
Did this go anywhere?
We use auto shutdown to prevent costs too, but we are finding more and more often some of the environments are in use.
Is there a way to postpone the shutdown but an upper maximum say 2/3hrs and be asked every xmins say 30mins which you can 'snooze'
Failing that if you could abort a shutdown scheduled for 7pm, but have multiple shutdown timers at 7, 9, 12 then if someone was working until 10 and aborted the 7 and 9 slots the vm would still be shutdown at 12.
Would be grate to be able to specify time and date

I run stuff in Azure for exam study and like auto-shutdown to prevent me racking up unnecessary costs. Would definitely like to be able to disable auto shutdown temporarily so I can keep things up for a week say if I'm working on something. An option to disable it until a specific date, or disable it for x number of days would be good.
