Auto-start and Auto-shutdown bulk options
I'd like to be able to configure DevTest lab machines to auto start when created. Otherwise, I'd like to be able to apply auto-start or auto-shutdown policies to all VMs.

Currently, you can apply auto shutdown policy to all VMs in the Lab. We will post the second ask on a separate thread to get more responses.
Link to that thread: https://feedback.azure.com/forums/320373-devtest-labs/suggestions/32702260-configure-devtest-lab-machines-to-auto-start-when
Thanks.

Why is this idea closed? Auto-shutdown is available, yes, but Auto-start is not, or at least it's not as integrated or as intuitive and easy to use as Auto-shutdown is. Also, it seems like this idea is also requesting different start/stop times for weekdays and weekends. That would be nice to easily configure as well.

I want Auto-Start on all VM's not just DevTest Labs.
For many of our Servers 7am - 7pm M-F is sufficient. -

@Azure DevTest Labs Team : could you clarify which feature has been added to the backlog: Auto-start, or bulk (powershell) configuration of auto-shutdown settings (for existing VMs, not in ARM script)?

auto start will be amazing feature - after we have set auto shutdown i.e when team sleeps machine sleeps and 1hr before team comes to office auto start this way we can reduce our cost and still love Azure!

It would be great to be able to 'checkbox' one or more VMs and then shut them down or start them up. Right-clicking each one to turn on is burdensome, especially in a web page and the odd refresh conditions.
