  11. Add ability to get list of DevTest Labs in Powershell

It would be nice to be able to Get-AzureRMDTL to get a list of all labs in a subscription.

  14. Allow a DTL custom image to contain (multiple) data disks

When creating a custom DTL image it can only contain an OS while managed images outside DTL can contain data disks as well. It would be great if an custom DTL image can also contain one or more data disks so when you create an instance from that image the VM already contains multiple disks.

  15. Allow multiple email addresses when using Auto-shutdown

On the Auto-shutdown screen, allow the addition of multiple email addresses in the email field rather than just the one. I tried using ; but that didn't validate. This would be useful if more than one person needs to know about the scheduled shutdown and would be much easier being able to enter a couple of email address than have to set something else up using webhooks.

  17. Auto-start and Auto-shutdown bulk options

I'd like to be able to configure DevTest lab machines to auto start when created. Otherwise, I'd like to be able to apply auto-start or auto-shutdown policies to all VMs.

  18. Auto-start of a VM when the user tries RDP

    Scenario:
End user has set up Dev/Test Labs and also turned on Auto-shut off at a specific time - Now usually this is at end of day. So end users use the VMs (mostly by connecting using RDP) for the day and auto shut off happens towards end. So next day when end users troop in, and launches the RDP he finds the machine shutdown and has to manually go to the portal to get it started. This is frustrating as it involves additional time spent logging into Azure, starting the VM etc.,. This is where this feature request comes…

We have closed that request as it would be technically very challenging to implement and hence become very costly, so we believe it will never make it as a priority. We took the requirement to help you get to the running VM without many steps, that may be the road we will take.

  19. ET shows wrong time zone in summer time

Eastern Time should be UTC -04:00, not -05:00 on September. It is -05:00 only on November – March. But in the selection of time zone it always shows “UTC -05:00 Eastern Time (US & Canada)”.
