Run executable file
I wish I could run any executable file. I just upload the exe into the Logic App, and add an action that calls it with arguments extracted from the flow context. This would be way better than having to deploy something to Azure Functions or some HTTP VM or service that gets called every time.
Of course it would run on a sandbox with limited access to network, memory, CPU and file-system. Perhaps a Nano Server container?
If it's too hard to get a native exe secure and properly throttled, you could start by allowing users to run a .NET library restricted to managed code.
That would be all nice and dandy, Jamie, if the portal did not keep screaming that "Azure Logic Apps is replacing Azure Scheduler, which is being retired. To schedule jobs, use Azure Logic Apps instead."
So how the fsck are we supposed to run an executable every fifteen minutes.
How the **** are we supposed to run an executable continuously?

I don't think this suggestion is appropriate since PEs can be executed in Azure Automation Jobs and Runbooks, WebJobs, Functions, Batch...
Just get the LogicApp to trigger a function - they're not hard to make.
