Excel Import and Export Connector
Connector would take an Excel file and provide all capability to process the excel file. Connector would also export to excel the output could be a stream or data storage.
With support of R language in SQL Server 2016, how about this approach - http://www.allaboutmssql.com/2018/12/sql-server-exportimport-excel-using-r_59.html
Seems a no-brainer to add support for one of Microsoft's own file formats. Please add ability to insert rows/tables from .xls files to SQL Server, convert .xls to .csv file. Thanks.
need a route to dump all the text in a worksheet without having a table requirement.

Why is the Excel connector available in MS Flow, but not in Logic Apps? Similarly, why is the GetRows action only available in the Excel connector, but not in the Excel Online (Business) and Excel Online (One Drive)? I'm unable to convert my Flows using the Excel connector to Logic Apps because there isn't an Excel connector available. Please consider adding this very necessary functionality.

I was really surprised to find that this isn't currently available. It would be great if someone from Microsoft could get back to us on this?

I totally agree. This is ridiculous, one of the most natural MS ecosystem products/features - Office 365 - is almost left out. Please consider inherent Excel support for logic apps at least.

100% this should be a reality. Why there is more support for non MS content is crazy. In a server-less architecture there is no way to process and import Excel files in Azure. Please add this connector.

Read Excel file line by line and process the records.

We should be able to handle excel files like CSV files can be now. I should be able to grab a folder of excel files and bring them in as if they are one table.
