Action to Run Data Factory Pipeline
It would be very powerful to have an Action that would trigger running a Data Factory Pipeline. I am currently staging data to storage and when it is complete I would like to trigger a Data Factory Pipeline to run. There are many other workflows I could implement with this functionality.
Logic Apps now has an Azure Data Factory connector that allows you to execute DF Pipelines.
Not able to get pipeline names from datafactory for specific ADF , do we need any specific access to ADF from azure Logic apps

You can pass parameters by using the body property of the action's input object. See https://stackoverflow.com/a/51824880/7167889 .
works great now.

+1 for adding Parameters. As-is I can't use it, I'll have to resort to a different method.
Currently, with a connector u cant add parameters to that pipeline (for example if you need to get some parameters from HTTP trigger request)
U can run pipeline with .net SDK from Azure functions or use REST API call. That way you can send parameters to the pipeline from logic app

Confirm that you can already do that by using an HTTP action that runs your adf pipeline with REST API

Since Data Factory pipelines can be executed using a REST API call, I guess you could use an ApiConnection action in your Logic App to trigger the ADF pipeline run?
need this so much, please add asap!!

I got a Logic App that fires when a file is added to an FTP server.
I got a data Factory that will import data from a CSV file into a SQL server table.
Need to be able to connect the two by giving Logic Apps a way to call a data factory.
