Logic Apps

Logic Apps allow developers to design workflows that articulate intent via a trigger and series of steps, each invoking an App Service API app whilst securely taking care of authentication and best practices like durable execution.

  1. Complex workflow issue with logic apps

We have a complex workflow where multilevel approval is required . Approver can send the request for update in any stage to any level.
Ex. if workflow is at 3rd level of approval and approver needs some modification then he can send it back to level 1 for approval.

How can we implement a workflow in logic app which will stop at level 2 and then once the approver from website approves it .That will trigger the next level of approval .
Logic apps with web interaction in each level of approval.

  2. Cosmos DB connector - Create and Delete document - unauthorized

When using the cosmos db connector, I can insert and query the database, however whenever using the action for create a document or delete a document I receive an unauthorized error. I am using the same connection for all actions.

  4. SQL Stored Procedure parameter mapping order

When executing a stored procedure with several optional parameters on our on-premise database via a Data Gateway connector, the parameter mappings seem to be based on the listed order in the json definition only and not by the actual parameter name.
In our case two nvarchar-parameters to be cast into date and integer, respectively, needed to switch place in the stored procedure definition in order to make it work. A more rigorous and fail-safe binding seems to be needed.

  7. DataLake Connector can't refer uppercase name folder

The DataLake Store connector converts to lowercase when referring to the path.
Can not refer to folders containing uppercase letters

  9. Switch Statement doesn't remember case conditions

I can create a switch statement with different cases and conditions, save them and it works just fine.
As soon as I edit some part of my logic app the case conditions aren't there anymore.

    I'm using the German interface

  10. The format of the SQL Adapter connectionstring

We are connecting from Logic Apps to an OnPrem SQL Server using the SQL Adapter via the On Premise Data Gateway.

On May 17 @ 02:00 (CET) our integrations started failing because you changed the format of the connectionstring from hostname:port to hostname, port.

You changed it a few month ago also, but from , to :

Why do you keep changing this back and forth?

  11. Connectors not found neither in resource group nor in marketplace

I was working with Drobbox, Sendgrid, Onedrive and FTP connectors and suddenly find it not available though earlier created logic apps still got it. Is there a way, I can get back connectors and templates and work the way I was comfortable. The new one is good but just cant hop to new one find day. Thanks for great platform.

  12. MySql Get Maximum Count

    Hi all

I've managed to create a logic app workflow that contains the MySql Connector. Connection works perfectly but I can't seem to get my desired number of rows. I've set the Get Maximum Count to 500000 and my on-prem db has about 12000 records but I can only seem to pull the default 512 rows rather than all records even though I set a high maximum. Is there possibly somewhere else I'd need to configure that to get all my data? (I had already posted this question but under Connectors so figured it's better classified as a bug)

    Thanks

  15. Auth error is returned depending on the value of RowKey

I wrote Insert or Merge with RowKey specifying "({MultiByte Chars})"
The connector returned a 403 error.

I made Insert or Merge with RowKey specifying "({SingleByte Chars})"
    Processing was executed.

Only when trying to update TableStorage by specifying RowKey with a combination of MultiByte Chars and parentheses, it will be returned with an authentication error.

I summarized the situation on my blog

  16. Logic apps and Azure File storage restricted access

I have an Azure file storage which i want to Allow access from selected Networks.
I have included the vnet where my other machines are and they can access it without issues.
I have also included the IPs for LogicApps and other machines. Access from other machines works. The problem is that i cannot access the storage from Logic Apps! I am constantly having an error saying "Azure File Storage: This request is not authorized to perform this operation"

    any help/suggestion is much appreciated.

    Thank you
    EH

  17. MQ connector in logic apps just stopped working

I had a (working) logic app which was sending data to an MQ queue. Now it has ceased to work because it's removed the datagram I was sending, which was the output of a previous action (parse JSON). When I go back into the logic app designer and try to add the message, it allows me to select it, but the designer does not allow me to save the changes.

  20. Deployed Logic App Designer View Different than Actual Deployed Version

I found a situation where, if I open the Logic App in the portal designer, I am seeing a very old version of it (which it seemingly would allow me to edit). However, this is not actually the real runtime version. If I go into the history and look at the latest, it reflects what I actually deployed. Additionally, when I execute the workflow and look at the workflow execution details, it is also correct. I am speculating that the potential cause of this is that 1) I first deployed the app from Visual Studio; 2) I edited the app,…
