Mobile Engagement

Azure Mobile Engagement service will be retired on March 2018.
While we are retiring Azure Mobile Engagement service, let us help you explore our other powerful, flexible services developers can use for mobile marketing.

  • HockeyApp integrates crash reporting and user metrics with an app distribution and user feedback platform.
  • Notification Hubs allows app developers to deliver targeted push notifications.
  • Visual Studio Mobile Center the cornerstone of our mobile app management strategy, combines rich analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, app distribution, and much more.

How can we improve Microsoft Azure Mobile Engagement?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  2. Re-Occurring Campaigns

When I create a new campaign (based on my own segments and events), it will only send a notification to a user once. What if (e.g. for user engagement purposes), I want to send a user a push-notification once every month, if he fits into the segment?

Currently, I would need to copy and re-activate the campaign every month, and it would save a lot of time to have re-occurring campaigns. Thanks a lot for this useful tool!

Here, I described the problem in more detail: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/azuremobileengagement/thread/aea2f090-7d13-4c68-8bae-85f450f576d4/

  4. Pyhton SDK for AzME Service API

Provide separate Python SDK for AzME Service API or add it to existed Azure Python SDK.

There is Swagger spec but it cool to have some pregenerated SDK with integrated authentication.

  5. Make Crashes workable for iOS in Xamarin forms (not working now)

Analytics works on Android & iOS, but Crashes only works on Android. I tried everything.
