How can we improve the Azure Resource Manager?

easy way to change datacenter

It will be nice a feature that allow move services created in windows azure from one Datacenter to another.

Sample: Move from West US to North Europe.

Definitely need this - With UK DCs now online, all prior builds for UK companies will have their resources in N or W Europe. With the UK leaving Europe, we need to move resources quickly and easily. Being able to move a resource group which then moves all the resources within it to to a new region would be ideal.

Love it, need it. Have a resource group (with ARM VMs) created in ****** region, but Recovery Service vaults not yet available in that region, so no backup/restore. Would be great to have an easy way (through portal & Azure PowerShell) to move the resource group to a different region that has the supported functionality (e.g. East **). Currently, there is a "Move" button for Resource Groups in the portal, but it just reassigns the RG container to the target region, not the contained resources - uncertain what scenarios that fulfills, but perhaps you could add a checkbox to indicate intent to move all contained resources to the target data center.

I would very much like to be ablso move a resource/resource group between centers.

It is not uncommon for requirements to change or to resources to be created in error in wrong region.

It is also not uncommon that a new closer datacenter is created.... a service is made available in additional datacenters (when will app insights move outside of US?)
