Snowflake connector as both source and sink
Provide the capability to copy data from Blob to Snowflake data warehouse
Azure Data Factory now supports Snowflake connector as source and sink in copy activity. Data Flow support will come later. Learn more from

Did a workaround to use Function app to connect to Snowflake, but since Snowflake is now fully Azure supported, that feels like a hack I shouldn't have to do, so would like to see this completed.

Any update on this?

Is there an ETA on the release of this feature? Would love to use this connector instead of having to invest in alternatives as a temporarily solution.

Dear Azure-Team, could you share an update about the state of development? Many thanks & kind regards
Is there early adoption available? And will this update also come with the ability to execute SQL against Snowflake? Since Snowflake doesn't support Stored Procedures, the current option is to hack it by using the lookup task, but that doesn't work well either since though it does successfully run the SQL, Datafactory says the task fails.
do we have an ETA on this connector? We have many use cases waiting for this connector

Snowflake can be used as both source and sink by using ODBC connector:
Data also can be loaded from Azure Blob Storage to Snowflake:
Is there early adoption available?
Any idea when it is planned for release?

Please add a native connection to Snowflake data warehouse for Azure Data Factory and SSIS
The ability to connect to Snowflake as a data sink and also the ability to execute scripts of SnowSQL would allow Azure Data Factory to function as an ETL/ELT process. Currently, it fails in the final step.

We are definetly loosing ground to Matillion because of this. This is quite important...
I'd love to know if there's any plans to add this. Any updates???
With Azure functions and some app services, once you have it in blob storage, it's just a matter of putting the right service calls in place to get data into Snowflake with Data Factory.
Add support for a connection to Snowflake as a dataset
