We need this feature guys. From what I heard, ADF sounds a like a fantastic tool. I was bit surprised to see that this does not support SFTP Sink.

We need this functionality ASAP, for both FTP and SFTP sink. Do not understand why you would allow both as a source bit not a sink.

Strongly agree, we need to be able to write in sftp in sink. I do not know what problem you have in enabling this option. If you are already reading, why do not you allow writing? Why data leak ?. Come on man, give us a breath. It is totally lame DataFactory without this option.

ADF is a great fit for one of our jobs... however without this I can't justify moving it to ADF :-(

How is this not a feature yet? This is one of the most basic requirements.....

Do I really have to revert to SSIS instance in the cloud?

This is very important for us as we want to run the SFTP upload on a self-hosted integration runtime due to IP whitelisting on the server that we upload to. i.e. I can create a databricks or azure functions upload, but we can't really whitelist the public ips used by the these systems. i.e. We need to the upload to come from our IP address which means a copy activity.

Adding SFTP as a sink would be very useful and negate the need for custom code.

I'm sure many would benefit from this.

This would be extremely helpful for us and allow us to use DF in a number of new scenarios.

    Hi MS Azure Team,
Can you please comment on whether adding support for SFTP as sink is on your roadmap?

Terrible that this is not supported as a sink yet. Come on guys, you can get data from SFTP but not write to it?

I don't see it listed as an available sink/destination in my new v2 instance.

I think support for SFTP as Sink is added recently as I can see this in ADF portal Sink Connection.

Please confirm if this is in beta version or final.

    MS Team,

We are looking for SFTP as sink data set in Azure Data Factory as it is highly required for the ETLs where we need to send the file to SFTP servers etc.
