Add configurable REST and SOAP Web Service sources, so it can ingest data from other cloud services.
There are many cloud applications that expose data via a SOAP or REST api. Customers should be able to configure generic REST and SOAP data sources for use in Azure Data Factory. Other ELT and ETL tools such as Dell Boomi, Informatica, SSIS and Talend have this functionality.
Thank you for your inputs! REST connector is now available: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/connector-rest
When will SOAP connector be available?

When shall we expect this to be available?

Our company uses Boomi MDM and having the ability to connect to it with Azure Data Factory would be a huge boon.
This. Nothing else. What's the purpose of a cloud solution, a data connector in the cloud, if Web calls are not supported?
Further, please make sure to support HTTP Header customisation (essential for Content-Type and custom authentication), body data, and token-based authentication (Power Query and Microsoft Flow both do not support token-based authentication and OAuth, even though all the Microsoft APIs are authenticated with OAuth.)

This is a must have to avoid writing our own services!

You can't claim to be iPaaS without integration with restful json and soap services, right?
Almost a simplified ODATA activity: let me do a GET for JSON against a URL would make simple integrations much easier

Given ADF is cloud based, this seems fundamental.
