I'd like to be able to perform full software inventory on servers and be able to identify non-current versions of programs installed, i.e. JAVA, Adobe Reader etc.
Management Suite should be able to push the newest versions to servers.
We are investigating something in the direction of inventory, but it’s at an early stage of thinking.
Any updates on this? Been more than a year of the initial request, so thought I'd ping and check.
I second Roman's request and would like to see some features for license auditing purposes.
It would also be nice if some method of license requirements could be entered to validate computers against the license needs, for example that you could flag a application to be installed max 10 times and if it passes the threshold it gets shown in a view within OMS? (due to every sofware vendor having their own license agreements)
