As a Managed Service provider we have multiple OMS instances, therefore it would be advantageous if we could customize the background or add a graphic to make it more obvious which instance we are viewing, particularly on wallboards.1 vote
I used the "Move" functionality in Azure portal to move my automation account from one resource group to the other.
This caused a "weird" situation in OMS.
I could still see the account was connected, but there was no runbook/job count.
I had to re configure the automation connection for them to show up again.

89 errors. need better way to dismiss this.1 vote
Agreed. This isn’t scaling well, although to be honest we don’t make a ton of use of these notifications right now. Ideally these will eventually fall under the umbrella of “OMS Alerts”
The runbook button isnt working on the alert pahe1 vote
The workspace I setup a couple months ago recently shows when I log in says that its linked to a Azure directory that my account doesn't have access to and being so...Im unable to use the 'add organization' option under accounts.1 vote
Possibility of embedding OMS dashboards from solutions for external Web Apps for customers.
There is the possibility of collecting data from OMS and integrate with Power BI and later embed this, but it is "raw" log information, not the pre-made dashboards in OMS solutions1 vote
Thanks for your feedback. Currently we provide rich APIs and tools to consume them. See all details here: https://dev.loganalytics.io/

Adding a user under "Accounts" does not allow me to click and type in the text boxes without changing the selections in the radio buttons.1 vote
Thank you for you feedback. Our engineering team is looking into this. We will keep you updated with progress.
On the Usage view I would like to be able to distinguish between the amount of data generated per cloud / datacenter, for example to have a quick view how much data came from my on premise datacenter vs Azure1 vote
You can get an approximation of this by using the SourceSystem field.
- | measure count() by SourceSystem
This query will give you a count of events from Agents / Azure Diagnostics.
Just move 'primary key' regenerate button away from the 'copy' button.. if you are in an hurry, you can make a mistake and click on 'regenerate` button instead of copy button1 vote
Thanks for the suggestion.
I would be nice with an option to remove/hide virtual machines that are used for testing, migrering and for building images for Citrix, Azure RemoteApp, etc. from the view in "Workspace Data Sources"
Workspaces with names that have characters different than numbers and latters cannot be linked in Azure Portal
Let's say you've created workspace with name 'Stan-test55' via the OMS Portal. Later when you open the Azure Portal (portal.azure.com) and try to link that workspace you cannot. The name is in red, no exact error appears what is wrong. See screenshot. I've tried to create a new workspace trough the Azure Portal directly and when you try to enter name it says that only numbers and letters are allowed. Seems there are differences in the logic of creating workspaces trough the different Portals. This could result into issues with customers.0 votes
The value presented on the usage "solution" on the front should display this month's usage rather todays. The amount of uploaded data this month is more meaningfull, and perhaps more important, than what has happened today.
The meaning of today is alvo vague - is it measured in GMT, CET, PDT or ? When does the number reset?0 votes
Thanks for the feedback.
“Today” is the UTC day.
- Go to Portal.
- Select Log Analytics (OMS) workspace.
- Select Operations Logs.
- From events blade select particular event.
Time is shown in a different language (in the screenshot it is Norwegian). In the rest of the UI for this feature everything is in English. Somehow this part of UI is getting some setting from different source than the other parts.
Azure portal language is English.
OS language is English.
OS Language format is Bulgarian.
