Support Feedback

Are you using the Support submission experience in the new Azure Portal? Do you have an idea, suggestion or feedback based on your experience with Azure Support? We would love to hear it!

Please take a few minutes to submit your feedback in the one of the forums available on the right or vote up an idea submitted by another Azure customer. All of the feedback you share in these forums will be monitored and reviewed by the Microsoft team responsible for Supporting Azure.

Please remember this is a Feedback forum, and should be used for ideas and suggestion related to Azure support. If you have a technical or subscription management support need, please open a Support Ticket from within the Azure Portal. If you cannot login/access the portal for some reason, submit an incident here. If you have feedback on a specific service such as Azure Virtual Machines, App Service, or SQL Database, please submit your feedback in one of the forums available on the right hand side of this page.

Remember that this site is only for support feedback, suggestions and ideas!
  1. Support is just awful

I have used Azure support two times in six months and it never happened to help.
The first time, they just let time pass and after one month they closed the ticket.

This time, I am having an issue within the alters service in Cosmos DB, and the guys from the support are still stalling after 10 days. I am not going to let it slide this time.

  2. Subscription deactivated and I can't open support ticket cause service disabled!!!

If the only option to open a support ticket is the support portal so you can reactivate my account then I find out that I can not create a ticket cause my subscription is disabled!!! Can't get any stranger than this, MS.

  5. "Related help" keeps coming up while submitting a single request. Steals focus from "details"

When submitting a support ticket, it analyses what you type in order to show potentially related issues. While that functionality is welcome, the fact that it comes up over and over again, and in doing so steals focus from the "details" box, is not. I've experienced this repeatedly during the course of typing a single word, let alone the entire support ticket.

    Things I tried:

    1. Close the "related help" box after it opens.

    2. Leave the "related help" box open and continue typing my issue.

    3. Type my question into a text editor, and copy and paste it into the details box…

  7. New Support Ticket: Add 'Problem Type' into Step 1's search results

Add 'Problem Type' to Step 1's search capability (which today only searches the 'Service' category). This will help me select both the 'Problem Type' and 'Service' in 1-click.

Currently I need to take a 'best guess' at the 'Service', go to Step 2 and review the 'Problem Type' to see if my issue category is listed. Why not combine this...

  10. Azure status history for 26-7 incident content is displaying wrong dates

I found that on Azure status history for 26-7 incident content is displaying wrong dates.

The incident occurred on 26-July-2018 mid night to 27-July-2018.

But dates mentioned in incident content "summary impact" show case Jun month instead of July month.

    Can you please correct this?

  12. Having an ETA would be good. Pending is not valid when it rolls to the next day.

Having an ETA would be good. One that actually is going to get a response. Pending is not valid when it rolls to the next day. I have issue that need addressing and no one is responding.

  13. By allowing me to create a support ticket for a diabled subscription.

I needed help today and I could not get it. There is no phone number for billing problems I I had to post a tweet. Tweeting for billing problems.. its just a really bad idea.

I am stuck in a spot where I cannot get support because the Azure portals support request mechanism does not allow you to create a billing ticket for a disabled subscription.

Truly? This is how it works?
