Support for W3C SPARQL as a query language
SPARQL is a mature W3C standard for querying and updating graph-like data with well defined semantics and rich query capabilities.
We don’t have any plans for SPARQL yet. We will keep this on our backlog and track user interest here as we prioritize upcoming work sprints.
We are users of cosmosDB and we need sparql too

In this context, the problem I would see with SPARQL (its quirky aesthetics apart), is that it is not a language designed for the property graph data model, which is the shared underpinning of Gremlin and Cypher.
If you don't support the standard, it pushes customers to competition https://docs.aws.amazon.com/neptune/latest/userguide/access-graph-sparql.html
I really love Azure, hope you implement that soon.
it seems feasible according to here: https://github.com/joshsh/graphsail/issues/1
Would be great if MS can provide it ! :)
