Support for document validation, using JSON Schema
Similar to MongoDB v3.6 https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/reference/operator/query/jsonSchema/ Would be useful for both MongoDB API and DocumentDB API

This is currently on our roadmap with a tentative release date of Summer 2019.
Thank you for your suggestion.

We have a use case in which we'd like to insert a lot of documents into CosmosDB (utilizing its huge throughput capabilities) while validating the json docs. So this would be very useful. Is it still on the roadmap?

In the same vein, I've a corrupted document that was somehow accepted for load into CosmosDB, but can't be retrieved from Data Explorer! Strange situation, so this sounds like it could help a lot...

Any updates on this? As of October 2019 this doesn't seem to be working.

Could you please update whether this feature is still in the product roadmap?
Are there plans for json schema draft 7 support in CosmosDB MongoDB API?
Thank you.
