Deploy Stored Procedures from Source Control
It would be great if we could deploy sprocs from visualstudio.com as we can with Azure Functions or Azure Web Sites.
This is now complete. Customers can deploy Cosmos DB stored procedures, triggers and UDF’s from an ARM template. For an example see here.
Any new update on this?
When will be the tentative date for this release please?

Awesome to hear that this is now planned work! I'm assuming this will have support for updating existing Stored Procs as well as deleting them so I'm really looking forward to seeing this go live! Will this also be extended to Trigger and UDFs?

This can be done from Azure DevOps using powershell - and form there you could create a custome taks in Azure Devops to do this, so I wonder if the Devops Team might be more amenable to ensure that CosmosDB can be controlled as part of a CI/CD pipeline.
I wonder why this does not have many votes? Is there another way to accomplish this?

Good idea! I also want it.

It looks good. And I want this feature about User Defined Functions.
