Support Gremlin APIs on Cosmos DB Emulator
The Cosmos DB Emulator currently does not support the Gremlin API. So at the moment it is not possible to test against the emulator using the Gremlin Console (http://tinkerpop.apache.org/docs/3.2.5/tutorials/the-gremlin-console/)
Emulator support for Gremlin API is now complete. We are currently working on updating our documentation for this but will be forthcoming very soon.
Thank you for you suggestion and votes.

How do you create the gremlin db in the emulator? Anything I try I get "Owner resource does not exist"
Any updates on this issue?
There seems to be some rudimentary support for Gremlin in the Cosmos DB Emulator now, as in you can connect to it as long as you do not try to use SSL, but you can not view the data as a graph, only SQL.

Cosmos DB now supports Gremlin API (since version 2.1.4). It's weird that Cosmos DB team forgot to mention it anywhere and update Emulator page. You can use this quick start to see how to connect to it: https://github.com/MichalWierzbinski/cosmosdb-emulator-gremlin

It's 2019 now. Your team didn't keep the timeline, could you please find the time to respond and provide a new one?
What's the status of this request? The year is soon over, an update would be nice.
Any update on this.

Any new updates on this? Most of our Cosmos DB collections leverage graph.
Not having this significantly increases the cost of developming for an azure developer that's not working at a large company or in a startup where funds are tight.
