Can we increase the limit of document size in cosmos. As most of the other providers can accommodate more than 2MB.

I have dropped the Cosmos DB option because this limitation. I am migrating an application to the cloud that use MongoDB, my unique option on the cloud is Atlas

The documentation says GridFs is supported, however I cant upload a file with a size greater than 2 MB, I can do this with mongodb with no issues.
see:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cosmos-db/mongodb-feature-support-36Due to it's not possible to upload files greater than 2mb with GridFs, please consider increase file size up to 16 for example.

Please increase from 2MB limit or allow surrogate records within the same Partition Key to return a composite match

Guys, you just can't say that we are able to use MongoDb by using CosmoDB if you dont have at least the same limit as the underlying database engine.
Please reconsider increasing document size !

I can imagine many customers are using MongoDB and would be interested in migrating to CosmosDB for the scaling opportunities and multi-region implementation. Can you add more context to why this is not being considered? Is CosmosDB not intended for large document stores like MongoDB (which allows up to 16MB documents)?
