Add the ability to delete ALL data in a partition
In a partitioned collection, it would be useful to have the option delete all data with a given partitionId.
This is not currently on our road map. However, we will look at this in our next feature review and will provide update on status.

Deleting each document individually is not good.

The inability to do this hurts! :) 🙏
I'm shocked at some of the basic features missing form CosmosDB - including this one.
batch delete in general is the underlying request, i.e. no looping through collections, just post a bulk list of IDs, or a PartitionKey, and wham, all gone.

DROP PARTITION in a collection should be implemented ASAP ... deleting records one by one is a real pain.
Did the azure team add this feature ?

Probably overkill but you could use g.V().drop() provided by Gremlin API
The ability to delete all data in a collection associated with a specific partition key (tenantId, etc) would be a huge help. This would allow us to drop a tenant's data in DocumentDb without having to delete each document individually.
Thanks Tommy for this feedback. If it is allright could you share a scenario/frequency on govindk at Microsoft dot com to help us discuss this further ?
