Allow multi Order By
From what I see it is impossible to run a query with more than one column in the Order By.
This feature is now complete. For more information see the article below.
Thank you for your suggestion and votes.
Does not work on Cassandra API
"Order by must be done on a single column"
This feature does not work on a new database and collection
For anyone getting this issue this is the response from the support - Since your Accounts Index policy is the older version, it has to be upgraded to the newer version i.e. Index V2, that’s the reason you’re receiving the exception.
We request you to create a new collection, where the index policy will be newer version and try the operation of Multiple order , please let us know the result.
This dosent work, following query fails with error: Multiple order-by items are not supported > SELECT c.Version FROM c WHERE c.Major != null order by c.Major DESC, c.Minor DESC

Is there any update on when this change will also be reflected into LINQ to documentdb, i.e. so ThenBy statements work?

Is there any progress with this feature?
This is extremely blocker for our application

Hi, I just landed on this page as I tried to implement multi order by in my application. 6 months have elapsed since the last update, can we have a new update please? Thanks!

10 months in development and counting...any updates?
Any updates on this?
This clearly speak about the casual attitude of microsoft in releasing unfinished products. never try any ms products which are not fully grown
...what year is it? Why do we even have to ask for this?
Any updates pls?

Probably should add primary key to this as well - can't sort by document ids - "Primary key order-by is not supported"
Any update on multiple column sorting? Would be great to have more complex order by clauses.
Thanks for your efforts!

Can you please share any timeline on this feature?
It is super essential for us to migrate to DocumentDB. I can't stress the importance of it in as many words.

This would be super useful. Is there any default ordering? What happens if I order by a parameter that can contain the same value for multlple documents. How are those ordered? Thanks
