How can we improve Azure Search?

Time to Live for data

Also nice to have feature would be to purge data which is more than x days old by issuing explicit command or having TTL on documents.

Do we have any updates on this feature ?

TTL for azure search will bring a real value add as its required in many scenarios rather than explicitly having a Purge mechanism.

I'd like to be able to specify a low-watermark. Similar to a high-watermark that indicates what's new, but then to indicate what's obsolete. Alternatively, support eviction policies. This way my index won't fill up, I won't need to do manual cleaning, and irrelevant /obsolete search results will not appear.

Given Search is expensive would it also make sense to have a predicate that allowed certain data to be aged onto slower storage and therefore incur lower costs? Think of what SQL Server is doing with tables stretching into Azure
