  1. MicrosoftLanguageStemmingTokenizer cannot process word 'F#' correctly

    'F#' is a well-known programming language, but if you tokenize sentence contains 'F#' with "en.microsoft" analyzer, it will be omitted. However, 'C#' works fine and does not have such issue.

  3. Bug: The portal currently shows an error when trying to create a datasource for an Azure SQL Database.

    Unable to create an indexer Azure SQL Database.

    The portal currently shows an error when trying to create a datasource for an Azure SQL Database.

    The error occurs when you press the 'Test Connection' button.

    Have tested with firewall IP configured to allow azure services and my IP address.

    Suggestion:
    - If this is an Azure issue, don't silently fail on the error and provide guidance on resolution.

  5. Microsoft english analyzer ignores the word "mine" completely

    While testing some searches I found that searching the word mine doesn't return any results.
    This probably applies to other english words as well, I found this one by chance.
    Calling the Analyze API with:
    {
    analyzer: en.microsoft,
    text: mine dog test
    }

    Returns:
    tokens: [
    {
    token: dog,
    startOffset: 5,
    endOffset: 8,
    position: 1
    },
    {
    token: test,
    startOffset: 9,
    endOffset: 13,
    position: 2
    }
    ]

    Using en.lucene analyzer returns all 3 tokens correctly.

  6. Cognitive search doesn't maps fields when used with cosmosdb

    Cognitive search is unable to map fields with the cosmosdb using mongodb API. It does pull the data but everything is null.

  7. Highlighting not respecting URL paths

    It appears to me that highlighting isn't respecting URL paths when processing search results.

    I have a field in my search index that contains HTML, and this field is also one that I have highlighting when search terms exist. If my field contained the following and I searched the term "google", highlighting would ignore the href in the 'a' tag

    Click <a href="https://google.com">Here</a>

    This seems to fail when the term exists outside of the root domain, like so:
    Click <a href="https://test.com/google">Here</a>

    When the HTML above is in the highlight-able field, the output is as follows when my highlighting pre-tag is…
