Automatically upgrade MARS via Windows Update
We have had frequent updates of the MARS agent in the last few months. The last update is required for accurate pricing based on the April 2015 changes. But there is little to prompt admins to do this. There needs to be automatic (manually prompting adds unwanted and unnecessary work) upgrades of the agents.
Hello MSFT, can I use MARS agent to manage multiple VMs from one console? We have hundreds VMs and installing and setting up MARS agent on each is a very manual time-consuming effort. Thanks.
Any Updates on this? Would be very helpful
This needs to be done as it is very time consuming to upgrade around 100 servers manually!

This will truly help companies, like ours, especially those in the MSP sector.
Is this ever happening?
It appears during the installer there's some mention of this, but I've never seen it operational?

Let's assume that finding a tenant username password, and then a VM password, copying the MSI, and installing the MSI, takes 15 minutes per machine. Now consider a MS partner with 60 tenants, each with 1 server each. That's 15 hours of uninterrupted non-billable work, assuming no problems, delays, or distractions. Windows Update would be much simpler, easy to control, and automated.
I agree as currently I did not receive any email about this important news. Only when I go inside the console of Azure backup.
