Critical missing Features need to be added
Hi,
There is few points im not sure how a big company like Microsoft missed to add it or ignoring adding them, which any basic backup software can do.
Percentage of job completion should be added while backup job is running to have at least idea how long it will take or time estimation.
if backup to Azure enabled, this data in Azure storage should be accessible in cloud like restoring the VM in cloud. if i m backing up 10 TB of data and i had a server crashed, its not connvinent to wait 1 year until i re download this 10 tb, should be an option to use it in azure vm temp until i got my data on permise again
N.B: this should be an option other than ASR. sometime u dont need ASR but they are forcing us to buy ASR and Backup at the same time to get this done.
- Email notification, SMTP to office365 should be supported without creating an smtp server, all basic app can do this without going thru a big process to achieve this.
