It would be nice to be able to see the state of the Azure SQL long-term backup retention without having to use PowerShell
We would like to ensure that if we have setup a specified backup time for system state backup the Job detail(completed) should show the start time same as scheduled time.
Currently it is off by 20+ minutes

Azure Application Service has a built in backup facility that allows you to Schedule a backup of the Application Service once a day.
There is no built in method to Alert when a backup fails. It would be great if these backups could be viewed in the Azure Backup Vault with Azure IaaS backups. This would enable all backups to be monitored in one place and the reporting and Alerting features here could be utilized for App Service backups.1 vote
