Why does this even need to be vote? Support for Exchange 2016 should have been in CU8, no discussion needed. Fail, as always with the backup vendors.

Can someone from the Microsoft team please confirm where in the roadmap for DPM 2012 R2 , the support is to backup Exchange 2016. Early adopters of the Microsoft stack of Technologies need to be better supported. Microsoft has had more time than any other backup solution provider to get the Exchange support into their product at time of release, I keep seeing this time and time again, come on Microsoft you need to support those companies that are the loyal early adopters of your solutions. Show us that you are listening and doing what can only be benefical to Microsoft.

RU8 come out and still no support for Exchange 2016 mentioned. That just put my deployment of Exchange 2016 back at least 2 months.

We have the DPM 2012 R2 infrastructure for protection on-premises resources. And Exchange Server 2016 is now available and ready to download. Please add the support of the protection Exchange 2016 in System Data Protection 2012 R2!
