Machine Learning

Welcome! You can use this site to tell the Azure Machine Learning team what features you would like to see.
Azure Machine Learning enables developers and data scientists to build advanced analytic web services in minutes and hours, eliminating the heavy lifting associated with deploying machine learning in modern data driven applications.

How can we improve Microsoft Azure Machine Learning?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

I have a similar data set from this URL http://bit.ly/2og1o31 and I wish to perform online fraud detection on the data set on R 3.2.5,

    • support for value added reseller scenarios

suppose you want to build azure ml into an application targeted at non-technical users, and you wanted to
      - allow them to try out a machine learning feature of your application by using a trial (no-credit-card) version of azure ml studio
      - offload management of the ml trial period and quota (trial licensing security) to azure
      - provision the free azure ml studio account with an arm template

is any of this possible right now? will it ever be?

      • More informative error message when building the docker image fails.

I was trying to deploy a scoring pipeline on Azure using AML SDK in Python. The scoring pipeline needs fbprophet library to train the forecasting model on the fly, and forecast for the future. I added fbprophet into the pip install in the myenv.yml by using myenv.add_pip_package("fbprophet"). Then, the step of building the image failed.
The error message did not have any information helpful for debugging. Although there might be somewhere with more detailed logs, but I had no clue where to find the logs. I had to google around for any possible reason.

After being blocked by this error…

        • Automatically render markdown files

Currently only the Readme.md is automatically rendered and displayed when a project is opened. When selecting another markdown file e.g. in a docs folder (of a TDSP structure), the 'raw' text is displayed.
Since the root readme file is displayed correctly, the render function is already there. The file should switch over to the text editor only when a user selects the 'Edit as text in Workbench' function.

            • Azure File storage support

I'm using Keras which has flow_from_directory to handle large sets of image files. I can upload these into azure file storage, however there is no way to "mount" that shared storage from within a python script which would be super handy. Any workarounds?

              • Allow read from .avro format in blob

My team has been using .avro format in blob as part of our data pipeline. We would like to be able to read these files into Azure Machine Learning so that we can build models off of them.

                • azure machine learning input module integration with on premise Hadoop cluster

Provide provision to access the on premise hadoop Cluster from Azure machine learning.
