Support clustering of StorSimple appliances
Allow multiple StorSimple appliances to be clustered (use an IB link or something between them to keep data in sync) for automatic failover in the event the primary node fails or needs to be taken offline.

As a workaround you might consider to use Riverbed SteelFusion with SteelFusionSync.
can anyone suggest how to achieve as we have 2 devices and wanted to configure appliance in cluster mode to address DR requirement.
Very good idea.
There needs to be a possibility to sync data between sites in a synchronous way.
Customers in EMEA will ASK for it.
Yes, there needs to be some form of unification for two node deployments for HA - better than DFS-R. And I don't like the fact that I have seemingly no way to get most of my data back on site pro-actively after an appliance replacement. Users have to access the data. A good DR plan might be to have a StorSimple virtual appliance at DR site, which automatically has the latest cloud snapshot. That could then provide file services until the primary node is returned to service.
Any progress on this feature request?

Good suggestion. Today within the device we have two node cluster running that ensures HA. This can be a good future enhancement.
