Ability to restore individual files without having to use VSS or mounting of a snapshot. Would improve the experience especially when one of SS main sales pitch is File Server data.

Hello everyone, i am an owner of a personal tuition class where i have lots of students data. I need to store all my data on cloud storage so i hired a guy how do all that work for me. Last week somehow we met on https://www.nosurveynohumanverification.com/m3-data-recovery/ because just before 2 days ago my system corrupted data of around 300 students, so i must do hire someone who do maintain my data and backup it everytime. Thanks to storsimple cloud service now i recovered all data with the help of him and storsimple. It save my almost 100k $.
We really need this for Physical appliances!
Cloning a volume, mount it, search for file, copy and then delete it is not a solution to be considered.
At this moment we are forced to use VSS for StorSimple volumes (iSCSI). The volumes used for VSS are volumes on a SAN as using locally pinned volumes in size of 4TB is not a feasible option.
Let's hope that we will hear good news in the next release of software pack.

Having a possibility to restore filesystem instead of whole drive would put StorSimple in the top of Storage and backup solutions. Currently, there is too much operation required to restore files stored on StorSimple Volumes. Please put a priority on this one.
Looking forward for an update on this idea.

Come on, we do need this! How are we suppose to replace our NetApp or even Windows file servers with StorSimple without the ability to allow users to perform their own restore?
