ITSM Integration with WAP and Azure Stack
-We need to enable the business units to integrate with WAP to allow consumption of Azure Services. Sadly Azure Stack and WAP are geared towards IT and as more organizations move to Azure and integrate PaaS they need to simplify the requests and management of resources in Azure from a business perspective. No other vendor does this and Service Now is taking more revenue away from Microsoft, By not addressing Service Management and business acccess as part of our cloud solution will eventually be recognized as a shortcoming once we start to lose deals other cloud providers. We are losing deals. For more context reach out to kawilson@microsoft.com I have lots of specific examples

As we expand our Azure services to be offered and delivered by Managed Service Providers, we will need to have better integration with their existing solutions. Integration at the service management level isn't about tickets. Tickets are only used a unique key to track items. The integration is at the data level. What we are asking about is an ERP based solution for the IT organization. This is similar to what SAP did for Finance. We need a common set of standards and data integration for IT. I support the request for this integration. This request is the 1st step in that direction.

I see 2 requests in this statement.
1. ITSM integration into WAP and Azure stack
2. Address Azure integration into an ITSM tooling.I totally agree with statement 2. We need this asap!
Statement 1 on the other hand, WAP and Azure stack are IT focused, as stated, and lack the integration of business processes. Keep it that way. A business has nothing lost in a tool focusing on IT operations.
But the issue needs to be addressed. The 'business' needs a way to interact with those services as well, but backed up by organizational processes wrapped around the typical IT processes. (ex: an end user portal, decent security scoping in Azure Stack and WAP so IT processes are hidden, ...) -

Gridpro is a great solution but our Customers expect this natively and we must build this

Yes but not through grid pro add-on. This functionality should be part of system centre.

We really do lose a ton of business to Service Now. We are already in these shops -- this should be an easy inside sale!!
