Should insert SQL when perform subscription migration to update subscription name as well2 votes
An option to disable the build-in remote desktop feature. This could be usefull for hosters.2 votes
Now WAP tenant can remove own subscription in which there were some resources (VM, DB, Networks, etc) at the same time at least in VMM all tenant's resources still running and accessible, but lose the owner field.
Thus the presence of public subscription plans we have possible DoS as well as a set of objects without the owner if tenant accidentally delete own subscription.4 votes
If you are using private plans that are assigned to users by administrators, users can still remove their appointed subscription. This will work even if we change at the administrative portal setting "user accounts" - "configure" - "Tenant self-service subscription management" as a disabled2 votes
Allow the ability to move a Web Site between plans.6 votes
Right now you can set quotas only between Shared and Reserved not between the Free tier and Shared tier which doesn't make since. Free will never have the same storage allotments as Shared yet you cannot set the quotas between them.
I understand you can create a new plan but that does not help since a Web Site cannot cross migrate between plans making that option not possible.3 votes
Support hiding by configuration of sections such as:
a) My account
b) VM Function role
This is important when developing generic hosting services on the internet.30 votes
Thank you for the suggestion. We are unable to accommodate this in Azure Pack, but similar functionality is being investigated for Azure Stack.
Much like ADFS does, support adding custom links at the top of the tentant portal (ex: "back to my account").10 votes
Thank you for the suggestion!
It would be nice to be able to assign AD Users and or Groups to Plans in Azure Pack. Instead of just limiting access to the whole portal via a STS provider. That way we could re-use the same portal for various solutions internally, by utilizing Plans that are locked down to a certain subset of users in the organization.28 votes
We are looking into providing similar functionality. Thank you for the suggestion.
When a user logs in the tenant portal, the user basically only has two tabs (All items and My account), and the user has to add a subscription to get services. The user may be new to WAP portal and gets confused, can we have some default plans for the new users?22 votesRupi Sureshkumar responded
Hi Ray, In the same vein of what Samir mentioned, there is a way currently for the admin to give a tenant a subscription so that when the tenant logs in, they already have a subscription and access to the resources of that subscription. Does that solve your scenario or were you looking for additional functionality?
