Tenant Portal AD integration outside of ADFS. This may have already been mentioned in a previous post.4 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. We are reviewing bringing this capability.
Please update the UI for more friendly logging. Would be great to have the following: A more concise view, similar to Windows server event log UI with filters, etc. but within the WAP UI. A CSV(etc.) export function would be helpful (with filters applied of course). Holistic, segmented logging, i.e. see multiple components in the WAP logging UI, color-code the different component source providers and have the ability to set the refresh and filters. Maybe allowing an extension to write third-party log info into the UI from the application via system center or windows server nodes. As more IT Pros are going to be interfacing with the portal, and for some may be the only way to see what's going on, its important to make sure the information is accessible without touching the individual nodes in the cloud.

Thanks for the feedback! We are working to improve how we log and present information to the user. These suggestions are helpful and we would like to hear more if you have them!
Deploying Azure Pack can be combersome using the current installation process. It requires multiple VMs or servers, SQL, pieces of Orchestrator, and so on. I recommend simplifying the deployment process of WAP.6 votes
Thank you for this valuable feedback!
Make it possible to create folders and nested folders within the automation section of the admin portal. Allow runbooks to be created and moved to folders that the admin has created.
e.g. a 'samples' folder for all the pre-installed sample runbooks...... ;-)7 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We will look into this. In the meantime, you can use tags to help organize your runbooks.
Allow a tenant to run and author ans schedule runbooks from the Tenant Site.158 votes
Just to confirm the request, this is around having the complete SMA experience for tenants, correct? Should tenants be allowed to author their own runbooks? Or are you looking to have the admin provide runbook content for the tenants so that they can run and schedule approved runbooks?
Today, we can add several address spaces inside a virtual network on the portal, but when setting a particular VM, we can only choose the virtual network, not the subnet (which is present when viewing into the VMM console)131 votes
Thank you for your suggestion!
Today SMA runbooks can be triggered when an "action" is taken. However there is no (synchronous) way to prevent the action to take place or to "modify" the parameters for the action. Examples where this would be helpful: Runbook that puts VM in maintenance mode for SCOM when tenant does shutdown from portal. Runbook that fetches a new computer name from custom database an injects into create VM action. Today these actions need to be done "after the fact" as a cleanup task (e.g. rename the server)16 votes
Thanks for the feedback! This is something that we have thought about and need to do some further investigating to figure out how it can be done.
Debugging Azure Pack services can be a huge pain because error messages are:
1: top level messages
2: global stack traces
If errors are *more specific it would be easier to debug and would save me a lot of time on the azurepack forums16 votes
This is very helpful feedback, we definitely want you to have as seamless experience as possible when using Azure Pack. Could you provide some examples of any error messages that were particularly cryptic or hard to debug for you?
When asking users to provide input for deploying VMs, not all options are "enforceable. Admin password, product key etc. always get's prompted.
Although this might work great in the Service Provider space, enterprise must be able to fully customize the "input experience" to enforce standards and ensure manageability.10 votes
The VM Role uses differencing disks. So the placement of the parent disk is crucial (because of I/O requirements)60 votes
We will look into this.
The tenants now authenticate against a SQL .Net Membership provider. An AD authentication site similar as for the Admin Site would fit certain scenario's where ADFS is not an option43 votes
Thanks for the feedback, It’s great to see the comments with the different scenarios as well. We know this is important to some customers, and we are definitely looking into it!
Currently the VM has to be shutdown to add/remove a virtual network adapter47 votes
Thanks for the idea. We are investigating.
About two thirds of screen estate is currently taken up by the borders.1 vote
When creating a Rule/Endpoint would be great to choose multiple internal targets and traffic distribution algorithm. Would be simple way to get HA/LB for a farm of VMs4 votes

Thank you for your suggestion! As part of an update release this year, we added functionality to WAP to allow for multiple custom themes to support reseller scenarios. There is more that can be added, though, to support this scenario. It would be helpful to hear from you all who voted on this feature about the reseller scenarios you are trying to support to help inform us when making design choices.
Allow the option to pick certificates and dns names for portal urls during installation instead of having to do it afterwards.4 votes
Thank you for the suggestion; this would be a great feature and we are looking into it!

Thank you, we will look into this.
Provide load balancing information during installation/configuration
Currently, the only way to configure load balancing of components with an external load balancer in Azure Pack is to use Powershell only after WAP installation and configuration. It would be great to specify FQDNs and URI's during the config phase and would be even greater to be able to specify ports.2 votes
Thank you for the suggestion. We will look into improving the configuration experience for WAP and adding these options.
Allows the user to select Provision VM is WAP or Azure, and establish S2S VPN1 vote
