How can we improve Microsoft Azure RemoteApp?

We want an HTML5 Azure RemoteApp client to support devices that do not have native applications available.

if interested in this feature, Apporto, www.apporto.com offers a remote app cloud service that delivers Windows apps in HTML5. You can now run Windows apps on any device.

Tried the HTML5 web client, only works on IE. Chrome or FF displays Black window with Azure menu only. Well no IE on linux :)

        @Everyone,
As of early March the HTML5 web client has been enabled for all subscriptions, below is the link to launch the client. We are still making various improvements and have not officially lifted the preview tag for the feature, ensure to read our monthly blog for the latest updates on the client and anything else Azure RemoteApp related, the link for the latest blog is here = https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/rds/2016/03/07/february-updates-to-azure-remoteapp/

Launch the HTML5 client using this link = https://www.remoteapp.windowsazure.com/web

I see that this idea is marked as planned which is great. Does anyone know how this will work with MFA and whether it will mean the user is challenged for MFA (when enabled) each time they want to use remote app?
The current remote app client caches credentials which means MFA is only challenged the first time you login then never again until they user presses the signout button.

And now I see audio redirection is working, along with better resolution support - this is exciting.

Great to see this feature is being planned! We need to run the Azure RemoteApp HTML5 client in our own webpage canvas (with customization). What is the procedure to do so? Is there any documentation available for the same?

Great to see HTML 5 Remote apps finally on the development schedule, this will go along way to multi platform applications use for our clients. The web browser is on most devices and is now the common O/S. You could develop a windows form application and have this available on non windows devices managed thru MS Azure .

+3. This is the best method of using (almost) any device, and (almost) any OS.

Would love to use Microsofts remote app via a chrome html5 app on chromebooks with education.

When offering a cloud solution to our clients their expectations are that it is browser based and zero apps install. An HTML 5 version of Azure RemoteApps would go along way to meeting the definition of "Cloud application"

Many universities and colleges use Chrome OS - ChromeBox, ChromeBook, and soon ChromeBit as clients. We would run all our campus labs on RemoteApp if able to have an HTML5 client.

Citrix provides a web portal that allows you to launch an application once their client is installed.

Yep, so don't have to download a client. Also this way, device that currently MS don't have a client for (Linux), can use RemoteApp.

There should be a browser version of the remoteapp desktop client as well.

        Thanks,

        George

we also wouls like this feature. A html5 portal (with sound support) would be most welkom, and make it possible for chromebooks te make use of applications on remote app. It will also make it easier to integrate into our intranet
