Change the interface so it actually makes sense
I have no idea how to change the password for automation. There are ten or twenty screens which I can't seem to find any reference for. I get messages like:
"The running command stopped because the preference variable "ErrorActionPreference" or common parameter is set to Stop: [...]: Error validating credentials. [...]: Invalid username or password"
...and there's nothing about it anywhere on the web. I can't find help. I phone the support and they have no idea what they're talking about. The whole community is full of snark when I ask about such things ("it's easy", "you should know if you're a pro") because they make money with this ****.
Seriously, Azure won't ******* last if you people keep doing it with us. Every other cloud service has better interface.
This is just bad design.
Sorry you are having this issue. Credentials are stored under Assets in the automation account and you can set passwords there. You might be having a different issue here also so it might be good to post the question to https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/azure/en-US/home?forum=azureautomation so the issue can be discussed and hopefully resolved.
