  2. No Session Timeout

Logged in session remain active even not in use for whole day which is a security risk, which should have a timeout to avoid any security incident.

  3. Create a separate Azure account type for B2B users

Not sure if this already covered somewhere else but....

Azure account types should be: 1) User; 2) B2B, 3) Guest.

Trying to manage permission for B2B users is not working as well as it could in Azure. We need to be able to manage access for B2B users whilst not impacting access restrictions on Guest users (vice versa).

  4. Portal.Office.com - Switch Directory on the fly for B2B users (Like Portal.Azure.com)

The directory switch for Portal.Azure.com is great please add same function for Portal.Office.com

This will make things much less confusing for people who are in multiple tenants!

Next you can add the icon for the Azure Resource Explorer with inbuilt searches eg: View details of Scalesets in my subscription

  6. Full control of azure portal with voice commands like iron man.

Including answering questions regarding resources being used and closing billing transactions. I want to speak to an AI that will do it all.

  8. Powershell snippets management on the portal

Secure management of power shell snippets with automation capabilities. E.g.: Run tasks per server/resource group or scale group of VMs.

  10. The Language translation bar should put on top of the page.

As many of the individuals are seeking local language pages, people don't know the button exists, which would be better on the top banner, so people can know it and convert it into their home language right away.

  11. Allow selecting subscriptions by IDs when creating new Azure resources

It would be nice to be able to select subscriptions by ID when creating new resources, even when the dropdown only shows subscription display names. We typically track subscriptions by IDs and not names in our team docs.

Make "The Submit an Idea" more visible. Its a very good idea however its hidden and most people will not know its available or find it.

Small beans but when I click "All Services", it would be great is there was a button to de-selected all selected items.

  14. Add an option in Teams for the option to pop out a chat like there is in Skype.

When holding a chat with an individual, and switching back to a channel, the experience is a little clunky. Would be helpful if the chat could be popped out into a separate window.

  15. Customizable Blade for integration of own services

It would be great if there is an option to integrate own services in the Azure Portal.

Lets think about automation webhooks or 3rd party itsm tool or other rest calls hooked into azure portal, so that an user ist not in the need to change the portal.
So we will be able to place buttons for automation tasks, reports, order forms or similar.

Without that, users have to switch to other portals and leave azure for management tasks and come back for administration tasks. Or they have to build the administration tasks in other tools and not use azure…

  16. Automatically set the inquiry language based on the language set in Azure Portal.

"English" is the default when registering a support request
Please set user's language as default.

  17. Rename regions to country/city names

Currently some regions are named by country names, and some are continent names. It causes confusion to users. It would be clear if all the region names are aligned to country or city names, for example:

    East Asia -> Hongkong, China
    Southeast Asia -> Singapore

In the Azure Updates page, there should be an option to select multiple category tags. At the moment it requires %2C in the URI category parameter to concatenate the categories together.

Alternatively provide a different taxonomy dictionary that groups by parent product group - eg Azure Networking, or Azure Identity rather than discrete product categories.

This would also allow for RSS feeds to hit respective customer audiences that have a discipline in a field (networking, security, identity, etc..) - reduce the white noise and allow them to focus on updates that are relevant to them

  19. get source assignment of a policy

In the Azure policy blade, it would be nice to have a column showing the assignment source of the policy (and maybe also the management group, if any): if the source is an assigned or unassigned blueprint, then we should be able to follow the link directly (in the portal). If the blueprint was deleted, it should be mentioned as such.

  20. Automatic mitigation policy based on risk type, not just severity

Azure AD Identity Protection reports risks for my users and allows me to set policies based on severity, but not type. I'd like to treat "Impossible travel to atypical locations" differently than "Signins from unfamiliar locations" or "Signins from anonymous IPs" with an automatic mitigation policy, but I can't because those are all considered medium risk.
