Allow us to set the date format on the portal.
Allow us to change the date format. Since not everybody in the world likes using US dates :)
Any chance this fix is near to completion? mm/DD/yyyy has never been a useful date format for any product that has a worldwide user base. If you must choose one date format that cannot be changed, the only option is yyyy-MM-dd, as you have done in the API versioning in ARM templates. Please at minimum fix all dates displayed in Azure to this format. There is quite a difference between 8th of October and 10th of August...

It looks like Microsoft want entire world to use US date format.

Any news, seeing as the last response from the Azure team was nearly 2 1/2 years ago !!!
Please do this feedback.
Any news ?
I think the best option actually is to allow the user to construct their preferred date option à la excel custom formats.
The next best is to allow to choose from a number of predetermined formats.
The least preferred is getting the date format based on user location, if your user location does not happen to have the default format you'd like to work with, it's of no use.
Has this been fixed yet?
yes, yes, please do, I'm glad I'm not the only one asking for this it would really help me out I hate using US date format.

Agreed! I don't know why it doesn't let the browser format the date using the local regional settings. :/
(I'm referring to the Account/Subscriptions site where it shows the billing history.)
Although it seems minor, constantly doing the mental calculation when you see a date time in the portal is cumbersome. Showing a datetime in UTC is not a good thing from a UX perspective. It should be converted to whatever timezone indicated by the browser, which puts the user in control.
Its really annoying that all the dates in Azure portal are in US format.
Very confusing for the rest of us (eg Aus, Europe etc)
Best option - setting location of user should set date format automatically.
@nd best - give the user the ability to choose their preferred format eg DD-MM-YYYY

Thank you. Yes Set up the time/dates.
Many European countries (like Greece) use dd/mm/yy format (not mm/dd/yy). There are some screens in portal which has information with date, like "Billing Period" in "Subscription" screen. This create confusing sometimes if you are not familiar with the american date format.
please add a "date and time format" option in general settings.
