Dynamic group or conditional access based on last logon attribute for schools to weed out students that are stale and add them when active
Add the last logon and other attributes to portal options for conditional access. Basically, create a template with the best options to validate an account based on login dates.
Inactive user group=user with null for last logon date, OR a last logon date that exceeds 2 years.
ALSO, = IF exceeds “” years archive mail and files for "" years to Inactive User Group Files.
Then user can assign P1, P2... licenses and other products based on the user logon data.
In our scenario, when the user is first added to system, since the domain has A1 educational license assigned. The conditional group is needed to add the P1 licensing so they can reset password and other features...
The other benefit is that it would dynamically purge the stale users and archive their files.
In our school it is hard to determine an “Active Student”, therefore we have many stale student accounts, this must be a common issue.
We have a hybrid with O365 and SSPR but too many accounts to assign. We need this ASAP!
