Show resource Id in the azure portal too
Show the azure resource id of all the resources in the properties tab for all the resources. Many users are reluctant to run scripts and should be able to see the resource id directly in the UI.

I believe that JQ can helps query in JSON from az CLI.
For instance, you can:
- Filter IDs from all resources in a RG:
az resource list -g <resource_group> | jq '..id
- Filter IDs from a VMs in a RG:
az vm list -g <resource_group> | jq '..id''
Now you can play with JQ to easily filter from any JSON structure.
I'd love to see the resource id directly in the portal. I do not want to have to open the shell and issue some commands to know the id of the resource. Is pretty inconvenient.
Ok, I found the resource Id from under Settings -> Properties at the Azure portal blade, this is very convenient already. Hope this helps others too.
Yes, I vote for resource Id to be visible in the portal as a column.
I am currently trying to learn to deploy the react app using the CLI command such as 'az webapp deployment source config', and one of the required arguments are '--ids', I search through Azure Portal and there is no way for me to get the resource Id.
This value is in the url.

You can find it in the properties tab

You can use the Cloud Shell in portal.azure.com to run the CLI commands. Click the ">_" icon in the header.
To get the resource id, run command like this:
az resource list --query "[?name=='MyResource']".[id] --output tsv
(I do agree that it would be nice to just copy-paste this from the UI).
How to find resource id for any resource in Azure?
Why isn't this a thing? Why do we have to download and run a CLI just to get the ID of a resource for troubleshooting
Me too! This would make certain things so much easier. We should be able to add Resource ID as a column in all resources (or really any other area where a list of resources is generated)
