It seems odd that names for items such as resource groups, app plans, app services, etc cannot be renamed. There should be an underlying UID or something connecting the services, not a name. Mistakes are made, standards revisited, etc that require naming changes. It's frustrating not having that ability. I understand the domain name ties directly to the app service, for example, but how are resources groups name specific?
