LET ME CHANGE MY PROFILE PICTURE!
I'm using the account assigned by my company (not a Microsoft account). I updated my profile picture and I see the new picture in Outlook an Skype, but I still see the old picture when I login to Microsoft Azure. Is there a way to see the new picture when I login to portal.azure.com? Thanks.
We are moving over to use a universal account control, this will ensure the your user picture is in sync/

Hi. In complete agreement with the previous 33 frustrated users, this should be fixed. Frankly, it's an identity issue concern - potentially costing someone a missed job interview....or worse; it needs resolving. I followed the article at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/active-directory-users-profile-azure-portal only to find that on the Azure portal the photos are correct! The old photos appear when a user clicks the link in Windows 10 to manage their Work account. The URL that the user is directed to is https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com - in my case this displays my profile picture from https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/UserProfileImage/UserProfileImage?objectId=3af08ceb-f98f-471d-b3a6-1206ff3e0c9c but on Azure and Microsoft 365 my profile picture is https://main.iam.ad.ext.azure.com/api/Images/Users/b4J5NGTIPcOEEzO2E9xJlzfkAnxkk3gAHm1Dd97X3wE=.jpg. There appears no way at all to modify or delete the image at https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/UserProfileImage/UserProfileImage

open the profile page in a browser and grab the object id of the photo (it's in the URL for the photo)
Use powershell to connect to AzureAD
create a small (like 15k) 648x648 pixel profile pic ( filename.jpg - no spaces in the filename )
set-AzureADUserThumbnailPhoto -objectid your-Object-ID-from-above -filepath c:\filename.jpg
clear your browser cache (and log back in)
all done, pat yourself on the back, you legend!

Same here, there are different accounts for the different apps, portals, web pages and counting. https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com shows an old immutable picture for me as well. In some apps I even see it at first and it gets replaced by the new picture when changing the email address to lower case letters (e.g. in the windows link company account section). It's a mess, as it is with the different internal Azure DevOps user ids that become obvious when the profile picture disappears or changes there as well... Is there any time schedule when this "universal account" will be available? At least for company accounts this would be really helpful.
This is not working. Some apps (desktop & web) shows my new picture, some are showing the old one. And some are showing NO PICTURES AT ALL! The latter triggered me to find this feedback item.
Teams - new picture
DevOps - no picture at all
https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com - old picture
It's a mess.
How do we change the profile picture in Microsoft Azure? I updated elsewhere in Microsoft, but Azure still has my old photo. Office / Teams has my new picture, but Azure a month later still has my old pic.
I had the exact same problem and after 2 days searching for a solution I found a way.
So here is what you have to do:
configuration panel --> program & functionnalities --> Microsoft Office --> modify --> repare
Then you have to wait 24h after that you have to disconnect from office and reconnect and it should work.
At least it did for me :)
Good luck all!

I have tried to update my picture on Teams, but it did propagate all over O365 apps and services, however under the myapps.microsoft.com or over Azure AD, or AD itself the picture is never synced, this casues the skype for business mobile app wont show any picture as well as other apps that reply on the AD's picture.

I was able to change the profile picture through Teams. Within the Teams desktop application you can change the profile picture. This wil also change the picture within Azure.

How long is it going to take for microsoft to allow us to change or update the picture in the azure portal? or via myapps.microsoft.com ? or at least the an office365 profile picture update flows to these portals automatically that would be even better. I have this issue in my work and university accounts, ver annoying.
any update would be great
be great if it used the same pic as 365....
can we get an update on this?
er still not possible another 18 months later...?
Any Update on this?

Does it take a few years to get profile pictures to sync? Bad enough that O365, Azure, Partner and many other portals all use separate accounts with the same email address...identifying them by picture, or really just making one master account would be smart.
Definitely want this
any chance of a status-update ?
