  3. A security issue about persudo-terminals to make DoS attack in the Azure AKS environment.

We find a docker security issue to exhaust normal user’s persudo-terminals in Linux Kernel and causing DoS attack in the Azure AKS environment.

    Reproduction steps:

    1. Follow the AKS tutorial to set up AKS clusters. We use one Virtual Machine with 8G memory, 120G SSD Disk, linux 5.4.0-1043-azure OS, Kubernetes Version V1.18.14 and Docker Version 19.3.14, to set the Azure Kubernetes Cluster. All those settings are done through by Azure Kubernetes UI.

    2. Deploy the docker unprivileged malicious container with UID 1000, dropping all capabilities, using limited memory 2G, running on special core and disable privilege escalation. We run malicious container in…

  7. Bug in Function App naming causing deployment error on the Azure Portal

In the azure portal , when creating a function app with 60 characters in it's name, the creation wizard allows it to be deployed, but the deployment fails with the error:
"There was a conflict. The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.".

I understand that the limit is maximum 59 characters. When you put 59 characters in the function app name, it deploys successfully. When you put in 61 or more characters, the Wizard disallows the deployment with the error: "The name must be fewer than 60 chars".

This issue seems to be specifically with 60 character function…

  11. Enterprise Application search not properly filtering

The search for Enterprise Applications is not working as one would expect (aka the same way as App Registrations).

You can not do a partial search.

E.g. You have an Enterprise application Named "Dev Kubernetes Kiali", if you search for "kiali" you won't find it.

You need to actually Search for "Dev Kub..." in order to get results.

I would expect to be able to search for any part of the name of my Enterprise Application and find it, the same as for app registrations.

  14. App Service Container Settings Do Not Populate

When I navigate to an App Service that is setup as a container. I go to Deployment Center -> Settings. The Registry, Tag, and Image fields do not populate with the values that are currently set. In the development console of the browser there is an error message. This does not prevent changing the values for those fields, and I'm able to successfully update the container registery, tag, and image. And the container is running ok. But you cannot see what values are currently set unless you look at the section of the logs that prints it out. See attached…

  15. Key Vault Certificate Selection on Mac not working

When trying to add a custom certificate to a domain it either gets stuck loading or the selections are cut off on MacOS. This is most prevalent on Safari but is still an issue on Chrome. I believe that it is due to there not being enough white space bellow the selection tab. In CDN it gets cut off and on Front Door (Preview) it just sits on loading.

No issues on Windows but sometimes you have to use a Mac.

  16. Fix the issue with 1GB RAM limit for 32-bit OSes running on Azure VMs

Currently, only 1GB of RAM is available for 32-bit Windows systems running on Azure VMs. This is documented in the Azure docs:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/virtual-machines/support-32-bit-operating-systems-virtual-machines

The docs say that there is no ETA for a fix.
I propose to prioritize fixing this issue because it's not always possible to migrate from 32-bit OSes to 64-bit ones.

For example, in our case, we have to run automated tests in 32-bit environments (hosted in Azure) because many of our personal and corporate users use such environments. We cannot rely on testing only with 64-bit OSes because system drivers and other components might behave quite…

  17. "Sign Out" link should not be a menu

Simple. The "Sign Out" link should not be a menu. You should not hide some menu with various options behind a button/link that says "Sign Out".

  18. displayed wrong object id for app under 'app registrations'

the object id of an App registration is displayed incorrectly.
    see the two attachments.
the object id displayed in the Portal is different from the one that I queried using Azure CLI.
It turns out that the one from the CLI is correct.

(I found it unable to upload screen shots of png format. in case none file is uploaded to this post)

  19. Long configs in azure app configuration cause "User is not able to connect to the service" error

When a big enough configuration value is set in the Azure App Configuration service (Microsoft.AppConfiguration), through the value edit in the configuration explorer, the service generates an error titled "User is not able to connect to the service", which is not adequate.

It would be great to have an explicit length restriction and validation/relevant error message for it.
