Currently, I can only monitor one resource at a time. It would be great if I could monitor more than one on the same screen, without having to switch back and forth.4 votes
We can definitely look into this. The dashboard is a great way to do this today. Let us know if there’s something more you’re looking for.
Currently when I open anything in the portal that has a "Settings" menu as well, the settings menu opens up automatically. It's a pain and I don't want to see it on everything I open - at least give us an option to choose to turn that behavior off rather than making it the default.4 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We’re working on an improved design for this menu. We’d love to hear more about what works well, what doesn’t, and how we can streamline the experience for you.
Please engage some good designers to design the site. The new Portal is at best "Confusing".
More so with LiveId accounts that are used in multiple subscriptions.
You will need good designers and information architects to sit through multiple sessions to come up with a suitable and clean ui flow. I used to think that Canonicals Jujucharms https://demo.jujucharms.com/ did a good job of it .. not so much now .. It is a hard problem to represent dense actionable information in a limited screen real estate.3 votes
Reached out for more information…
It will be very helpfull to see the headers and/or body of failed requests in the 'Failed Request Details' section.2 votes

After a search is made and results are displayed in grid a count of found results would be useful when you search for resources with a prefix.
Or a column , Count.1 vote
We can investigate this, if it’s a common ask.
I had to spend some time to find out how to select a subscription. Selecting a subscription to work on is not intuitive. Once I select a subscription, that subscription name is not displayed anywhere.3 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We’ll think of better ways to make this more discoverable.
when creating new resources I find the 'new resource selector' and then the create blades are in the way once I have selected the type of resource and determined to create it.
I always find myself minimizing those two places over and over again to see the resource group or other previous blade for names and to help me fill out the fields more accurately.
in the screenshot I have the 2 I mention minimized.
It would be so helpful to automatically minimize certain blades as you traverse to the next blade.1 vote
We’re working on a new design that will make better use of screen real estate. That should mitigate your concerns here.
Icons are used throughout, which is great. We all love icons. What I recommend, however, is that the icons are used WITH accompanying text somehow. For example, in the "all resources" blade, I click on a server and it opens the corresponding blade and shrinks the "all resources" blade so the "Type" column disappears. In the now-shrinked "All resources" blade, I have no idea which service is of which type unless I memorize all the similar-looking icons. I have special trouble with a SQL server vs a SQL database. Which is which? Nobody knows.1 vote
We can do this, if it’s important. We didn’t add it to reduce noise. You can hover over the icon to get a tooltip which will tell you the type for now. Let us know how important this is to you by voting on this and we’ll see where it falls.
When browsing resources in "All Resources" or by any other resource types it would be great to have the ability to view the list of resources grouped by columns values. It can be only one group, no need to have complex multi-field grouping here.
A typical scenario would be this one: I have already filtered 4 subscriptions out of 30+ and I want to group resources by subscription, resource group or even resource type.2 votes
We’d love to do this.
When I add a resource, I should be able to see the cost before I commit.4 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We’ll consider this.
Please please get rid of the leftmost menu and replace it with the menu that appears after clicking Browse
I hate clicking Browse to see the full list of services. It's an extra click for me. Put the full list on the leftmost panel and keep the filter textbox. Or merge the two menus together keeping the current leftmost panel at the top and full list at the bottom so users can still see most commonly used services. This is driving me nuts.1 vote
The tiles already tell me whether it is a virtual machine of virtual network however especially in the beginning, when I'm new to Azure. The tiles aren't always clear to me. So a brief pop-up with the description would be handy. Thanks!1 vote
I have been demo'ing azure quite regularly to customers and while it is really simple to provision something like a vm, it is painful to delete afterwards as there are a number of additional components created like resource groups and storage accounts etc that all need to be deleted manually.5 votes
We can look into options here. For the time being, create resources in groups and then delete the group all at once.
I use a lot the keyboard with tabs and shortcuts and it will be productive to have a Save shortcut instead of going to the save button1 vote
When I click and drag a tile on the Azure Ibiza Portal, I should automatically be put into customization mode, OR, the tile should simply move where I drag it to, without entering the full customization mode. I'm not sure which implementation would be more practical, but I feel as if something should happen. Right now, it only selects text.1 vote
Makes sense. For now, you can do this by clicking and dragging on the menu bar that appears when you hover over the tile.
In the config options for the tile, add the ability to increase icon size to fill more of the available space.1 vote
Interesting idea. We can look into this, if it’s a common request.
Link resources (like mysql databases) were easier to add and remove on the old portal.1 vote
I’d love to see this improved
The progress bar of any activity is shown under the alerts bell menu. I think it should be put down together with the action notification banner.1 vote
Note that the bell is the Notifications menu. All your current actions are listed there.
When I click a notification, the notification blade is showed and when I close it, the context where I was working is lost.
Ex: in VM (classic) blade I decide to start a VM, the notification shows me an error, I click the notification, read the error message and then close the notification blade. At this point the home page is shown instead of the blades I had previously. Would it be possible to show the notification blade on the right? or perhaps, next to the blade I'm currently using?2 votes
We are an organization that creates a lot of webservices and storage accounts, and all. And it currently is a mess to navigate between all the webservices and their respective add-ons.
Why should a webservice and one of its add-ons should be 2 separate tiles on the dashboard ? And to make navigation easier, why couldn't we create "Folders" in the dashboard to help organizing our numerous tiles ?2 votes
