  1. Change regional format Svenska (Finland) to Finnish

Since Finland has not been under Swedish rule after 1808, could you also acknowledge this fact and let the people of Finland have their own regional format?

  3. IE Doesn't support Azure ;-)

I am wondering why IE doesn't come supporting everything related to Microsoft products while other browsers like chrome and firefox do. See the attached file.

  4. Add Norwegian as regional format in portal settings

Today the Azure portal has support for 3 different Swedish Regional formats (Svenska) but none for Norwegian.

I'm Norwegian and it's frustrating that I can't select a Norwegian regional format in the portal settings. I'm currently using English which has the same date format, but not the same 24-hour clock, so I have to struggle with AM-PM all day long in AppInsights etc.

  6. Portal Notifications: Change default from "Dismiss All" to "Dismiss Completed" and close

Most situations we just want do "Dismiss Completed", not anything pending. This forces going to the dropdown and in many cases accidentally "Dismiss All".
Also, the pane should close automatically once you dismiss things.
I suggest either the above changes or configurations options to achieve the same functionality.

  7. swapping delete with delete resources

I think for convenience the delete button should be swapped or placed closer to the delete resource button. A lot of the times, when testing, I am in an automatic mindset so when deleting only some of the resources I accidentally click on "delete resources" and not "delete" so most of the times I am almost deleting my resource group.

  8. Allow for more verbose sorting in new portal lists

At present you are not able to sort by all columns in the new Azure portal. For instance if you are in the Network Interface blade you can only sort by Resource Group, not by IP/Subnet, not by vNet or VM attached too. Can this be changed?

  10. Make a note during Azure Log-In that clearing your browser cache/cookies is helpful for the best possible Azure user experience.

As an Azure support specialist, I can say easily 15-20% of our issues come down to stale cache, causing portal irregularities that are fixed by trying in a different browser/clearing cache and cookies. Let people know up front that 'For the best Azure experience possible, we suggest clearing your cache (insert link how to do so for all browsers) before logging in'. That would be spectacular. If only 10% of people see that, we still reduce our work load by a significant value, and we can refer them back to that message, letting them know we have their best experience…

  11. [Translation feedback] meaning between "purge" and "delete" on Azure CDN in Japanese is confusing

In Japanese portal, meaning between "purge" and "delete" on Azure CDN is confusing.
"purge" is displayed as "消去", which means "erase" in Japanese and is for being used when a user wants to clear caches left on edge-nodes.

"delete" is displayed as "削除", which means "remove", "delete" in Japanese, which is for deleting Azure CDN resource itself.

To users, it is confusing and might mistakenly execute "remove" when a user wants to purge caches on edge-nodes.

I'd like to change the name of purge to a little bit more appropriate title (e.g., "パージ" or "キャッシュクリア")

  12. Make Monitor - metric alerts and and other quotas visible in the portal

Currently there doesn't seem to be a way of
viewing usage of metric alerts and many other resources limited by quotas https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-subscription-service-limits#monitor-limits. Why not make all quotas visible on the Usage + quotas blade for a subscription

  13. Azure Portal Templates should be renamed Azure Portal Template Library

Azure Portal Templates should be renamed to Azure Portal Template Library (or something) so that Bing/Google searching can return information on it - Searching for Azure Templates yeilds *way* to many results!

  14. Azure Portal Templates should be backed by a Git Repo

Azure Portal Templates should be backed by a Git/AzDO repo with support for labels and branching.

Having Templates without version history makes working in a modern auditing environment challenging.

Currently, we have our templates in a Git repo, then cut and paste them to the Azure Portal for deployment. This exposes us to audit issues when we cannot trace back who made changes to our IoC and forces us to use third party solutions rather than Azure Portal Templates.

  15. Allow selecting subscriptions by IDs when creating new Azure resources

It would be nice to be able to select subscriptions by ID when creating new resources, even when the dropdown only shows subscription display names. We typically track subscriptions by IDs and not names in our team docs.

  16. Make "The Submit an Idea" more visible.

Make "The Submit an Idea" more visible. Its a very good idea however its hidden and most people will not know its available or find it.

  17. Provide support for portal.azure.com

When something seems to be broken in the Azure portal itself (https://portal.azure.com), there is no avenue to get support from Microsoft.
If Microsoft expects customers to use https://portal.azure.com to manage resources they are already paying for, Microsoft should provide support for https://portal.azure.com withing requiring an additional paid support plan. Paying for Azure resources should include support for https://portal.azure.com.

Small beans but when I click "All Services", it would be great is there was a button to de-selected all selected items.

  19. Add an option in Teams for the option to pop out a chat like there is in Skype.

When holding a chat with an individual, and switching back to a channel, the experience is a little clunky. Would be helpful if the chat could be popped out into a separate window.

  20. Max NICs supported on VM size

In the portal where user selects a VM size from a list, we could use a new filter or a column to show the max number of NICs supported for that VM.
