  1. Visibility of support plan and possibility to select out of several support plans

Once a support plan is linked to our user, we are not able to see what support plan is linked with it.
Unlike what's possible on LCS or Power Platform, it is also not possible to link more than one support plan to our user ('Link support benefits' seems to overwrite the actual support plan), and that way we are also not able to select one of our support plans when creating a new support request.

  2. Expiring client secret for apps should alert owners via mail

When client secrets of registered apps expire, the owner should receive an alert on the Azure console or via mail.
This could be important as admins cannot monitor the hundreds of production apps with expiring client secrets. Thank you.

  3. Azure App Service HTTP requests to Azure VNet IP Addresses fail after upgrading to .NET 5.0

(I reported this issue at https://github.com/dotnet/runtime/issues/44686, but they currently think it might be an issue on the Azure side, and asked me to open a bug report here.)

I have a Windows Azure App Service hosting an ASP.NET Core MVC application that makes HTTP requests to a Linux VM via an Azure VNet IP address. When I target netcoreapp3.1, the requests succeed. When I target net5.0, I get the following exception:

System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions. (10.1.0.4:80)
---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (10013): An attempt was made to access a…

  4. Ability to pin the Azure SQL Database Data Storage Doughnut chart to a Dashboard

On the default Overview blade of an Azure SQL Database there's this Database data storage chart visible that gives you a nice overview of the amount of used, allocated and total amount of storage assigned to your database.
It would be nice to be able to Pin this chart to an Azure Portal Dashboard in order to present this data on a screen or a certain group of people.

  5. SCIM Provision groups on demand

Currently application provisioning via SCIM works on a 20-40 minute cadence. For on demand use cases, like using PIM to provide prod support in a separate environment like Salesforce or AWS, this is not fast enough. On demand provisioning is only available for users, not groups. Please add group support or allow a mechanism for a faster sync.

  7. Inherit region from parent

When creating a new resource, the region defaults to South Central US; so requires changing on every new resource added.
Better would be for this value to default to the same region as the resource's parent; so allow a default region to be set for a subscription (https://feedback.azure.com/forums/223579-azure-portal/suggestions/6715615-when-selecting-a-location-how-to-save-as-default) and have all resource groups under that sub default to that value. Then have any resources created in the resource group default to that resource group's region. This should lower the effort of setting up a new environment with no negative side effects.

  8. Azure QuickStart Center on default Dashboard upon login

Azure QuickStart Center needs to be on the homepage dashboard upon login.

This is really a cool feature but is missing its presence on the default dashboard.

  9. Grace Period (4 hours- Remember MFA) for Azure MFA NPS Extension

NPS servers with extension for Azure MFA for authentication to application. Application send Radius request to NPS server. The NPS server do the first authentication by on-prem domain. For the second authentication MS Authentication app with notification is used.
We do have many users that open multiple sessions, in a short time, through application and need to respond to the authenticator on every logon. This seems unnecessary and do not optimize the work flow for our users. For example a user might need to open a connection to 20-30 different sessions and need MFA authentication for each session and for…

  10. Bug in Function App naming causing deployment error on the Azure Portal

In the azure portal , when creating a function app with 60 characters in it's name, the creation wizard allows it to be deployed, but the deployment fails with the error:
"There was a conflict. The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.".

I understand that the limit is maximum 59 characters. When you put 59 characters in the function app name, it deploys successfully. When you put in 61 or more characters, the Wizard disallows the deployment with the error: "The name must be fewer than 60 chars".

This issue seems to be specifically with 60 character function…

  11. User feedback using surveys in the portal

Send-a-smile, NPS, CVS/CVA, custom surveys - lots of teams are doing surveys in the portal.

Initiating surveys from buttons, links and chrome.

Would like guidance/pattern on surveying users

  12. Runtime enviorment available for all Supported languages on Azure App Services

Azure portal provide facility to deploy web app in many supported language, in current scenario all supported language runtime enviorment is available. For example if we are deploying ASP.NET application on Azure, means that we ar creating an application for ASP.NET but by design(by default) all other supported runtime evn are also allowed like we can run PHP script behind the application thats running on ASP.NET. More insight could be checked at https://NameOfWebApp.scm.azurewebsites.net/Env in Enviornment Variable and Path i.e. Search PHP. This is putting us in high risk and experienced PHP Script running on ASP.NET Application behind for attacking purpose.

  15. Ability to display which vmss instances was removed that triggered the degrade status in the resource health.

To have more information in the 'health history' of the VMSS instances to understand which instance (specifying the instance name)might have been deleted /scaled-in causing the 'degrade' mode.
Additionally, would help if there's information as to what application triggered the scaling to cause the degrade status.
    The summary is too generic:
"Your virtual machine scale set is degraded because 1 out of 6 virtual machines are
unavailable. (Can specify which instance).Use Azure resource health and the troubleshoot tool to address the
issues with the unavailable virtual machines.

  16. Delete pattern needed

Need a design pattern for deleting items in the portal. Today, some deletes ask the user to type the resource name, others ask to type the word "yes" while others have no confirmation.

  17. Attach ISO to VM through Portal to Troubleshoot

The ability to attach/inject an ISO to a VM for troubleshooting through the portal. Much like Hyper-V can use a DVD drive to upload an ISO file before the hard drive boots.

  18. App Service Container Settings Do Not Populate

When I navigate to an App Service that is setup as a container. I go to Deployment Center -> Settings. The Registry, Tag, and Image fields do not populate with the values that are currently set. In the development console of the browser there is an error message. This does not prevent changing the values for those fields, and I'm able to successfully update the container registery, tag, and image. And the container is running ok. But you cannot see what values are currently set unless you look at the section of the logs that prints it out. See attached…
