If Azure provide us automatice pictorial architecture diagram of the cloud enviroment we created along with VM,storage, firewall, lb etc
Once the virtual environment created , If it provide the Architectural diagram of along with DCs, vms, storage, database and its availablily , it will be very good. Also it has to automatically modify the architecture diagram according to the VMs updated.1 vote

IT would be really useful to have a POP up message or an ATTENTION MARK with more details whenever someone wants to create a resource in Azure which is in PREVIEW --> lots of people are creating preview items for production which should not be the case!
thank you!4 votes
Currently, when creating a resource in the portal, if template validation fails (for example, due to an Azure Policy Deny rule, or lack of permissions to a related resource), the link to download the template is not provided. Teams who do not have a mature CI/CD pipeline will often use the portal to generate a basic template that they can use. Validation/Policy errors should not block the ability to download said template, especially considering that the user may know what the fix is and need to make that fix within the template itself because there's no way to do it through the portal.

Why does every resource the has separate naming standards?
Some allow hyphens, others allow underscores, while some other allowed none. Some need to be in lowercase only, while others allow mixed case.
My suggestion is to allow standard naming standards for all resources.
Preferably mixed case, with hyphens, and standard name length.3 votes

Thanks for the great idea. We will definitely look into improving this area.
I have an issue accessing the Azure portal on Brave browser. I intend to spawn a VM and after I click on the "create VM" button, I get an error.

When im in a resource group and click new something there is a really good chance i want to create that new thing in the subscription and resource group that im currently in. Why does the portal default to some other subscription and RG. When im done creating a new object in a resource group why does it take me out of that resource group and go back to the home page? I would save so much time is the portal would respect the context i already set by navigating to a location.1 vote
We are currently investigating on this front and surely work on improving this experience.
Thanks for your great feedback.

Add Ability to change Azure RM Template deployment name (Microsoft.Template) when deploying through Azure Portal link.
This is not possible today. If a deployment is in progress, we increment the count to Microsoft.Template_n. If a deployment has completed, we reuse the Microsoft.Template deployment name.
Can we get the ability to change deployment name if completed so it is not overritten/reused when we deploy another ARM template in the same RG?4 votes
ExpressRoute billing button can allow downgrade to Metered rather than re-create the expressroute circuit
The billing button at ExpressRoute only can upgrade to unlimited but not allow downgrade to metered, that make Microsoft billing to me a lot of money one month after while wrongly configuration and finally we need re-create the circuit5 votes

Have a native Azure offering for hosting an FTP service to allow external connection supporting sFTP as well. Could have FTP uploads push to azure data store.2 votes
It doesn't seem like there is any way to know which settings will be applied when swapping deployment sites in Azure and which settings will not. There is currently a message that appears before the swap occurs which outlines warnings and errors, informing you of some settings that will be changed, but not all.
The exact setting that caused a lot of pain for me was CORS. I had no idea it was being applied when I was swapping. It would have been nice to see that in the informative messages.1 vote
Set up Azure for a small business with 5 employees. The five employees (users) should be able to login from a computer anywhere and access the company files by mapping a network drive on the local machine to the Azure file server. Each user should also have a folder mapped to their local machine that is private to them (the other users cannot see the contents of the folder. The connection must be secured, based on modern best practices.1 vote
If an application does not use ASP.NET or IIS it's completely unclear how to run an application that simply listens to a port.
Provide a mechanism to just specify a port using an environment variable and a way to start and stop it.
No IIS handler monkey business.
Managed SSL termination and HTTP/2 should work with the proposed solution.5 votes
It should be possible to manage group policies from Azure.
As per the comments at the bottom of this thread, it's not possible.
