Tile background color
It would be useful if we could assign a background color to tiles. This could be used in visualizing/categorizing services, customers or various deployment stages. Imagination really.
See attached screenshot.

An undo feature for the dashboard
Today I made an unintentional change to the size of my resources tile on the dashboard. Despite closing the browser window without hitting the Done button, the change remains.
Though I attempted to re-pin the resources item to the dashboard it remains in the smaller size.

Add item to Left side menu called "Dashboard"
When I pin items to the dashboard I don't see them anywhere. Where is this mystical dashboard anyway?
3 votesYou can get to the dashboard using the “Microsoft Azure” link at the top-left. It’s your cloud home page. Let us know if you think you need something more.

Dashboard editing - versioning - undo
Implement Dashboard versioning. It is so easy to delete something on the dashboard when you are customising it. With the new sharing feature I can see more people able to customise it. Would be great to have a version control to track who did the modifications and also to rollback if needed. Worth case would be an undo feature when you edit and remove something by mistake. At the moment the only option available when you update a dashboard is 'Done Customising'
4 votesInteresting idea. This seems generally applicable to all resources.
In the meantime, you can a history of updates in Audit Logs.

Dashboard - Adding Calender Option
In the Dashboard area, adding a Calendar would be very helpful. Also allowing to add the events to it and reminders will be valuable.
4 votesInteresting idea. How would you use the calendar? What events and reminders would you like to see here?

Add more information to the tiles
There's a lot of wasted space inside the tiles.
For example, in a virtual machine tile, you could add the current public and local IP and the status (executing/stopped).30 votesThanks for the feedback. We are constantly working will all the partner teams to build tiles that expose the right information and actions. We will take this feedback into consideration.

Allow custom blades to be created in the portal
Would like to be able add custom blades to the portal? I mean, something like a custom REST call/query, JSON config based, and/or eventually (ideally) some custom code or PS script? It may help a lot to fill some gaps every one of us tempt to find in the portal.

Ensure existing functionality is not lost with updates.
For example up until very recently there were a number of tiles on the Web App blade that were extremely useful, such as the "Active Deployment" tile showing the status of a build. Being able to pin this tile from several different web apps to the dashboard and projecting the dashboard on the wall for the dev team to see was very useful. Now we have to wade through the blades of different apps to see what is happening with builds, preventing us seeing all that we need to at once.
An example of a useful sysadmin tile is the…

it would be great to get some kind of completion meter to indicate how long it will take to complete the current operation
More live data. Feedback for long running transactions 55%, 56%, etc.

Allow pinned tile configuration to include label customization
Customization options for pinned tiles are limited to size. In order to help create a more task-drive friendly environment, allowing renaming of tiles would be very helpful. For instance rather that have 4 tiles say "Site Settings" for my sites, allow me to label them so I can distinguish them.

Simplified Azure dashboard
The current Azure user dashboard is way too complicated to navigate and understand it.
Even doing simple things is not really clear there.
Only makes sense to use cli for now.2 votes -
Enterprise Portal UI extension model
EA portal is super important management portal for enterprise companies. But as of now- there is no way to retrieve information about departments and add custom information to objects.
It will be great, to have some option to extend EA portal with custom UI... or REST API will also help, but it also don't exist https://feedback.azure.com/forums/34192--general-feedback/suggestions/32367562-publish-an-api-for-ea-portal(except of billingAPI, but it will not return an information about departaments)

Improve the readability of placeholder text in the Azure Portal
In the Azure Portal, when entering a filter in the Cosmos DB Data Explorer (Mongo DB settings), I can cannot read the placeholder text
"Type a query predicate (e.g., {´a´:´foo´}), or choose one from the drop down list, or leave empty to query all documents." because it is too similar to the white background. Make it slightly more readable please.1 vote -
Add labels to desktop
Please could you add the ability to add labels to the desktop.
Our desktop has many different graphs for different applications but we have to remember which graph is which. For instance, if you put 2 database graphs side by side, there is no way to know which one is which. If we could add labels to the desktop on the portal, we could use that to lay out different sections.

Educate the Azure portal developers in basic UX principles
I just went to try and create an Azure storage account and was confronted with the screen in the attached screenshot. Note the control in use for the fields "Deployment model", "Performance" and "Secure transfer required". Each of these fields requires the user to select one of two possible options. Standard web design provides two controls suitable for this purpose - the dropdown selection and the radio button. You have ignored these standard controls which have proven their utility over two and a half decades and instead created your own. And I can tell you immediately that yours sucks because…

Please make the Templates > View Template blade WIDER.
The current blade size is only medium and not wide enough to view JSON structures easily.

If someone is looking to use lowest priced VM sizes then it is painful to scroll thru ALL the vm sizes. sorting will make it very easy.

Internet Explorer 11 blocks SendGrid Scripts in pricing blade
In Internet Explorer 11, when I try to create SendGrid Account, the pricing blade not shows any plan, because IE11 blocks some scripts.
