Azure Policy: Use policy to limit options surfaced in portal
If my policy only allows D series VMs, then when I get to the SKU selection blade during VM creation or resize, I should only see the allowed options.

Change (back) the font size/boldness of the bricks in the Azure dashboards.
Why is the font size so large/bold now in the dashboards? It makes it hard to use 1x1 bricks. This seems to be a very recent change that breaks several of our existing dashboard layouts.

Bring back old Application Insights tiles
Old Application Insights metric tiles were very convenient. There was no need to write queries for most metrics.

Either fix the new large tile text font, or remove the option to create 1 x 1 tiles
Either fix the new large tile text font, or remove the option to create 1 x 1 tiles. Look at the attached screenshot to see what a recent update has done! Apparently this is 'by design'!

Create a report option for every subscription or services
When selected virtual machines or other services it will nice if we can see the reports tab which can describe the usage info and affecting the bill.

Important announce should use notification in azure.
Important announce is not use blog, but should use notification in azure.
Now, I can not use TCP 25port because I migrated subscription to MSDN.
Recentry I read this blog.
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/mast/2017/11/15/enhanced-azure-security-for-sending-emails-november-2017-update/If this announce would be not blog, but would be notification in azure, I didn't migrate my subscription.
I hope important announce will be notification in azure because I can not notice blog released.

Customize color of metric graphs pinned to Dashboard
We use multiple dashboards extensively on large walled displays for operational center-like monitoring of key diagnostics to visualize servers and services.
The latest improvement to Azure Monitor and the metric graphs that are pinned to a dashboard are a great improvement, but the color-scheme of the chart lines and the legend of performance counters are now making harder to see key information.
Please add support to customize the color of each series line in a chart and also to customize the text of the series in the legend to be more legible.
Refer to the attached screenshot of a portion…

Force default dashboard users
I would like an option to be able to create a dashboard, and force this as default for some users.

It's hard to use the management portal to scroll sideways. Only vertical scrolling is needed.

Theme based on Dashboard
Should be able to set theme based on the dashboard. I use prod and non-prod dashboard and want a way in UI to tell me which dashboard im . Like different theme color, so that by mistake i don't execute some operation on prod dashboard(which i intend to execute on non-prod).

A facility to create labels on a dashboard
You can pin tiles to the dashboard, but it would be nice if you could create labels for the dashboard.

Allow users to control Azure Portal Dashboards expiration time and make dashboards usable
Dashboards with it's current session expiration timeout are pretty much useless to be user as office dashboards and status monitoring. Most of the time session expires too soon and Office TVs show a "session expired, please refresh" message. Putting the tab with a dashboard on a cyclic refresh (e.g. "refresh this tab every 20 seconds") is not an option at all - new portal loading speed is horrendous, and the tab is cycled out from a view faster than it manages to display any useful diagrams or alerts.
This was not an issue in the past and came only in…

Delete Azure account button, in the setting :).
The user should be able to easily delete/disable the Azure account without support, cause support isn't helping.

Make names of the pinned items on Dashboard editable
Make names of the pinned items on Dashboard editable.
For examples I have pipelines section pinned from different data factories on dashboard it would be good if I can name them differently. In general it would be easy if I can rename components pinned on Dashboard.13 votes -
Dashboard not deleting deleted resources
When I delete a reource group, it is not certain that the members of that resource group will be deleted from the dashboard. Even closing the window and opening a new portal does not necessarily remove all deleted objects.
I'm using the Chrome browser on Windows 10.

Start a runbook from an Azure dashboard
An Azure Automation runbook can be pinned to a dashboard, however it simply takes you to the full blade for the runbook. It would be good if it supported the ability to trigger the runbook (possibly with specified parameters) directly from the dashboard.

Refresh button on the Azure Dashboard for All Resources
There is a refresh option for Resource Groups but not for All Resources. Can we have a refresh option for All Resources as well?

Sorting the virtual machines based on running status.
In the portal.azure.com, when we view the virtual machine resources, it is getting listed by the name of the VM, status, resource group, location, subscription. Where we are allowed to sort the resources by name, location, resource group, location, subscription but not by the status. It would be great if we have this. This will help the infra maintenance engineers while collecting data from the portal
